Margaret Light, PhD, Nurse Practitioner, has been in the health care field for almost 40 years. In addition to her current role as a NP in Internal Medicine and Women’s Health for the past 20 years, she has also had experience as a U.S. Navy Nurse, a hospital critical care nurse, and as a faculty member and instructor for undergraduate and graduate students in several local colleges and universities. Margaret received her BSN and MSN degrees from UNC in Chapel Hill, her Post-Master’s NP certification from George Washington University, and her PhD from George Mason University. She is very active in state and local NP professional organizations. She lives with her husband in Northern Virginia and enjoys spending time with her adult children and her first grandchild.
